Observation of Surface Nonlinear Apodized and Chirp Waveguide Arrays
摘要: 本文细致地分析了光折变表面波诱导的切趾波导阵列结构特征。首次研究了背景光、外电场以及写入光的光强、波长和入射角对的切趾波导阵列的调控,发现并解释了波导阵列导模模式带退简并和饱和现象,另外写入光波长和入射角可以有效调节波导阵列周期大小。较大入射角激发的低阶表面波模式,可诱导出有趣的啁啾切趾波导阵列,并且啁啾可调,其出现位置可以通过PRSW强度、背景光及入射角度等非常方便地调节,最大啁啾幅度及正负也可由写入光的入射角度、波长及电场调节。

Abstract: In this paper we study the regulation of background illumination, electric field and write beam on apodized waveguide arrays induced by PRSWs. With the intensity of write beam increasing, the index-guided mode bands degenerating or spliting and eventually become saturation; the wavelenth and incident angle of write beam can effectively adjust the period of apodized waveguide arrays. There is a tunable chirp for a larger write angle, which location can be contolled by the intensity and angle of write beam and backgroung illumination, the maximum amplitude and sign can be adjusted by the wavelength and angle of write beam and external electric field.
